We carry out driving tests, approve people to be driving instructors and MOT testers, carry out tests to make sure lorries and buses are safe to drive, carry out roadside checks on drivers and vehicles, and monitor vehicle recalls.

Driving Examiner
As a Driving Examiner, your knowledge, skills and judgement will determine if a learner driver is ready and safe to take to the roads alone
Customer Service Centre
As a Customer Service Centre Agent, you will provide high-quality support and guidance to our range of customers on a wide variety of topics
Vehicle Standards Assessor
As a Vehicle Standards Assessor, you will conduct technical examinations on vehicles to ensure they meet legal roadworthiness requirements
Traffic Examiner
As a Traffic Examiner, you will conduct inspections of vehicle types and drivers hours in a variety of locations including the roadside and customers premises
Vehicle Examiner
As a Vehicle Examiner, you will conduct inspections of various types of vehicles in a variety of locations including the roadside, MOT garages and customers premises
Digital
At DVSA Digital there are a variety of technical roles that contribute to the design and delivery of high-profile digital services used by millions of people each year
