What we’re building
MOT services
Our MOT reminder service now supports over 6 million subscribers, helping drivers keep their vehicles safe and roadworthy with timely, automated nudges.
Smart licensing tools
We’ve digitised the Vehicle Operator Licensing process, making it faster and easier for owners and operators to apply, update, and manage their licences online.
Driving examiner services
We’ve transformed the driving test experience by digitising examiner workflows. Reducing paperwork, improving accuracy, and freeing up time for what matters.
Road safety tools
From Highway Code updates to real-time alerts, our online tools help millions of users stay informed and safe on the road.

Future of the theory test
DVSA is now bringing many of the back-office functions inhouse. Building and running the digital platform which integrates and underpins the service.
Artificial intelligence
After winning an award for our AI systems, we are continuing to develop and invest in AI capability in all our digital services. We’ve developed an AI Community of Practice, which aims to make AI accessible, open and ethical to its members across the agency.
