Working hours

The contact centre is based in the Swansea Vale DVLA site in Llansamlet, just minutes from the M4. It operates between the hours of 8am to 7pm, Monday to Friday and 8am to 2pm on a Saturday. Shift patterns within these working hours can offer excellent flexibility to suit a wide range of lifestyles and interests.

Full training provided

As a newly enrolled Telephony Advisor, you’ll receive comprehensive training which involves:

  • call handling techniques
  • how to answer common customer queries and provide advice to customers
  • how to process transactions, such as replacing a lost driving licence
  • one to one and group support from experienced trainers and leaders
  • weekly reviews to monitor progress

What we’re looking for

It’s crucial you’re confident in using multiple IT systems, as you’ll need to navigate these on dual screens whilst answering enquiries. You don’t need any previous experience or qualifications to join us – we’ll coach you to develop innovative customer service skills and techniques. All we ask is that you’re a hardworking, resilient team player who is enthusiastic and has a passion for delivering an excellent service.

Pre-employment checks

Our pre-employment checks can take up to 20 working days. In order for us to carry out these checks, you’ll need to bring your Identification Documents (ID) to our office. Please refer to this guide which explains the type of ID we can accept.
