What you could be doing in DfT’s Digital Service Team

We have a range of roles available as part of our growth within the team. Please see the roles below to find out more.

Digital Delivery

The Digital Delivery teams cover a wide range of functions including the business facing Digital Business Partners, spend control and assurance, User Centred Design, technical developers, Programme and Project managers alongside product and delivery specialists, business analysts and change managers.

Teams are responsible for maximising opportunities for digital solutions to transform how DfT work, drive effectiveness and achieve efficiencies – through building strong relationships and partnerships, applying strategic systems thinking and an intrinsic passion for user centred design.

Lead Technical Architect – Data Specialist

Digital Strategy and Operations

The Digital Strategy and Operations side of the Directorate include Live Services, Architecture, Cyber Information and Security plus Corporate Security teams.

These teams are responsible for our physical and personnel security and providing live service support, and service management, ensuring digital solutions are fit for purpose and follow appropriate standards, as a team of internal trusted professionals.

Information and Management Rights

The Information Management and Rights team include the Freedom of Information advice team, the Knowledge and Information Team, the eDiscovery team, they also advise on the handling of maladministration complaints made to DfTc.

Business Support

The Business Management team manage and co-ordinate a diverse array of duties and tasks, including; governance and performance, secretariat function, finance, resourcing, skills and capability.
